⭐ Mission
Help Qonto become fully compliant with the e-invoicing reform across Europe and turn regulatory change into customer value. You will partner with the E-Invoicing Tech Lead to translate complex government specifications into a clear roadmap, ensuring our backend architecture scales to support millions of transactions in France, Italy, Spain, and Germany.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Technical Product Manager - E-Invoicing at Qonto, you will
• Own the technical roadmap for E-Invoicing compliance: Translate regulatory specifications into actionable user stories and technical requirements for the backend team.
• Act as the interface with Regulators: Represent Qonto in technical workshops and roadshows with tax authorities, serving as the technical voice of the company.
• Define architecture with Engineering: Work closely with the Tech Lead to design the architecture for e-reporting and the connection to government portals, ensuring stability and scalability.
• Support product strategy: Guide the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams by decrypting the lifecycle of e-invoices to ensure a coherent functional experience.
• Lead European expansion: After France, you will decipher technical requirements for upcoming markets (Spain, Germany) and define the strategy for international interoperability.
🤔 What you can expect
• Market context: E-Invoicing is shifting from a feature to a standalone strategic program. You will be at the heart of the most critical regulatory shift in the European fintech landscape, impacting all B2B transactions.
• Methodologies: You will pair closely with a Tech Lead to bridge the gap between regulatory texts and code.
• Recent projects: We are preparing for the French e-reporting pilot and building the connectors for the government's public invoicing portal.
• Tools: You will work heavily with API documentation, regulatory specification, and backend architecture tools.
🏅 About You
• Experience: You have senior experience in Product Management and/or Technical Project Management. You are comfortable reading technical documentation and discussing architecture with engineers.
• Invoicing expertise: You are an "Invoicing Lover." You have deep prior experience with invoicing platforms, e-invoicing regulations, or ERP integrations.
• Mastery of French: You are fluent in French and English. You will need to navigate complex regulatory documents in French and participate in French-speaking working groups with the government.
• Structured reasoning: You can deconstruct complex government specs into clear, logical steps for a roadmap. You are capable of challenging the status quo, even with regulators, to defend a better technical implementation.
• Communication: You are comfortable presenting technical topics externally at conferences or roadshows.
