Negotiate freight contracts with shipowners.

Support internal operational teams during execution.

Advising global colleagues on pricing and contract clauses with their customers.

Report internally about latest shipping trends/news in the world of shipping.

Locate and develop synergies in the Rhenus Group for oceanfreight by (part) charter.

Finished traineeship in Germany as Freight Forwarder or Shipping Merchant.

5+ years experience in project logistics (with focus on chartering) or preferably in chartering (preferably project cargo, Heavylift).

Strong knowledge about charter party terms.

Solid understanding of global shipping markets / trade routes.

Experience in handling complex, oversize and/or Heavylift shipments.

Business fluency in English; other European languages are a plus.
