Santander Digital Services is looking for an AWS Network Engineer based out of Madrid.

We're shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Creating cloud-based networking infrastructure using IaC

• Deploying cloud-based networking infrastructure

• Incident and tickets management

• Collaboration and support to other teams needs

Professional Experience

• Experience in Networking (Required)

• Experience with operation and troubleshooting in the networking area (Required)

• Experience in Public Cloud (Preferred)

• Experience with AWS (Preferred)

• Experience with IaC: terraform and cloudformation (Preferred)

Languages

• English (B1/ Conversational level) (Required)

Hard Skills

• Knowledge and experience with:

  • Dynamic routing protocol (BGP) (Required)

  • VPN site to site connection (Required)

  • Proxies and Load Balancers (Preferred)

  • AWS VPC / Private Link / Transit Gateway / Direct Connect (Preferred)

  • Security Firewall / Security Group / Network ACL (Preferred)

  • DNS (Required)

• Network consolidation and design project

  • NAT/PAT solution (Preferred)

  • Third party providers (VPN / Direct Connect / MPLS) (Preferred)

  • TLS Connections / Certificate issues (Preferred)

• Infrastructure-as-code (IaC)

  • Terraform / Cloudformation (Preferred)

• Incident resolution and forensic analytics

  • AWS Cloudwatch and Flow log (Preferred)

  • Connection test stategy (Preferred)

  • Scripting (python) (Preferred)

  • AWS Lambdas (Preferred)

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders (Required)

• Ability to work under pressure (Required)

• Effective incident management and escalation handling (Required)

• Strong prioritization skills in fast-pace operational environments (Required)

• Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving environment (Required)
