Scopely is looking for a Senior Community Strategist to join our Monopoly Go! Team on a Hybrid basis in Culver City, Barcelona or London!

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

MONOPOLY GO! is a global phenomenon and the biggest mobile game launch in history, captivating millions of players worldwide.

As a Senior Community Strategist, you will shape how community insight informs product development and future seasonal strategy. This is a senior, product-facing role at the intersection of Community, Product, and LiveOps, focused on bringing the player voice into feature development and future seasonal planning. You'll work several steps ahead of execution, helping define how the community shows up in the game, while partnering with the team to turn strategy into meaningful player experiences.

What You Will Do:

Lead and Evolve Ambassador & Feedback Programs

  • Own and scale ambassador and player feedback initiatives to ensure continuous, high-quality insight generation
  • Design and manage structured feedback systems (e.g., surveys, testing cohorts, focus groups)
  • Ensure feedback is consistent, actionable, and aligned with business needs
  • Translate player sentiment into clear, data-informed insights for product and leadership teams

Drive Community with Product Integration

  • Act as the voice of the community in product and feature discussions
  • Partner closely with game teams to embed player insights into roadmap and feature prioritization
  • Identify and advocate for community-driven opportunities that enhance player experience and engagement

Define and Lead Community Strategy

  • Establish the long-term community vision and direction across upcoming seasons
  • Identify key player-facing opportunities and high-impact "big bets"
  • Build and implement structured strategic frameworks to guide community planning and execution

Partner on Seasonal Planning

  • Collaborate with the Senior Community Manager and channel owners to shape seasonal direction
  • Provide strategic input that aligns community initiatives with product and marketing priorities
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment across community, product, and marketing for each season

Deliver Executive-Level Strategic Communication

  • Develop clear, concise, and executive-ready strategy documents and presentations
  • Distill complex data, feedback, and inputs into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and opportunities effectively to senior stakeholders

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Partner with Product, LiveOps, CRM, Marketing, and Community teams to drive a unified strategy
  • Contribute to a shared planning and execution process across functions
  • Foster alignment and ensure community insights are embedded across the player lifecycle

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years' experience in community, DevRel, or product-facing community roles, ideally within a live-service or fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, design, or LiveOps teams, with exposure to feature or roadmap discussions
  • Proven experience building or managing community programs such as ambassador programs, feedback loops, or player testing groups
  • Strong ability to translate player feedback and community sentiment into structured insights and actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, with experience shaping plans, frameworks, or initiatives beyond day-to-day execution
  • Ability to identify opportunities for player-driven innovation and community impact within a product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise, executive-ready materials
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align multiple teams and influence without authority
  • High level of autonomy and ownership, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Strong attention to detail and judgment, particularly when working on high-visibility initiatives
  • Experience in live-service games or similar player-driven environments
  • Familiarity with survey tools, analytics platforms, or community tooling

At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that! We are committed to creating a diverse, supportive work environment where everyone is treated with respect. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us & embrace the adventure!
