Scopely is looking for an Senior Specialist, Accounts Payable to join our Finance team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub, on a fixed term contract for 6 months.

What You Will Do 

• Prepare weekly and exceptional payment runs for in-country review
• Accruals proposal and month end close activities
• Invoice approval management
• Follow up and resolution on AP aged items
• Prepayments/VAT/Fixed Assets monitoring
• Liaise with in-country finance/service owners to understand nature of expense
• Compliance with in-country VAT and other requirements, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner
• Ensure system VAT rates are up to date with local requirements
• Prepare other requests e.g. W8/W9s, 1099's, etc. for in-country filings
• Ensure SSC remains compliant with the SLA's and KPI's
• Audit assistance (Document retrieval, narratives, ad-hoc queries)

What We're Looking For 

• Knowledgeable in Oracle Fusion ERP
• 4+ years experience in accounts payable roles (invoice processing & payments)
• Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
• Experience in multicultural and multinational working environments
• English proficiency level
• Microsoft 365 and G-Suite regular user
• Energetic, organized, positive self-starter person with pro-active "can-do" professional attitude
• High attention to detail
• Team player mentality

• Experience with/ leading ad-hoc projects and integrations
