The role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Trading Operations Analyst to join our team and help build and maintain robust processes whilst ensuring operational activities run smoothly and deliver a seamless customer experience.

What you'll do

• Execute operational processes across all stages of the trade lifecycle.

• Identify, investigate and troubleshoot discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with various internal teams to streamline operational processes.

• Manage broker and custodian enquiries efficiently and professionally.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and control frameworks.

• Develop expertise to become an internal subject matter expert for complex trading operations queries.

• Monitor internal systems to optimise operational efficiency and address any potential disruptions promptly.

• Contribute to business development projects under the guidance of senior team members.

What you need to have

• Currently completing or recently completed an undergraduate degree.

• An appetite for AI tools and automation where you'd rather build a smarter process than repeat the same task twice.

• A passion for continuous improvement where you're never quite satisfied with "good enough" when there's a smarter way forward.

• A creative and methodical approach to problem-solving, with a talent for cutting through complexity to find the most effective path forward.

• Strong analytical and organisational skills, paired with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a straightforward and engaging way.

• Someone who takes initiative but also values the benefits of collaboration within a team.

• A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and follow through without needing to be chased.

Nice to have

• Some exposure to financial markets, trading operations or a related field, whether through work, study or personal interest.

• A fascination with the intersection of trading and technology with a desire to play a part in shaping it.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or other programming languages.
