📄 JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a vpTech Domain Lead to take on the management of the Sales Preparation Domain, one of VeepeeTech's most strategic domains (~90 people across 2 Tribes: Sales Creation and Sales Production). You will report directly to the CTO.
As Domain Lead, you are accountable for the end-to-end performance and AI-first reinvention of the Sales Preparation machine, from offer sourcing and pricing to catalog, content and storefront production. You turn it into an agentified, scalable, brand-faithful engine that combines industrial efficiency and brand-signal execution, while preserving continuity of service.
You are the primary business partner for Sales Preparation: pragmatic, outcome-oriented, and AI-first.
Your key business stakeholders range from Exco members and top managers (Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Operations Officer, Sourcing Excellence Director, Sales Production Director), to operational teams (Business Process owners, key users, etc.)
You co-build the strategic vision with the business and the CTO, and translate it into measurable tech deliverables. You manage tech and product teams. You drive delivery through your Lead POs and secure technical excellence through your Lead IT, Lead developers and Domain Architects.
This is a permanent position with a french contract (CDI). Freelancers contracts are not accepted for this position
🎯 TASKS

Co-own with the business and the CTO the 3-year strategic vision of Sales Preparation in the AI era

Drive the AI-first transformation of the domain: agentified operations, scalable content production, algorithmic merchandising, AI-driven pricing, AI-empowered commercial activity with smarter brand CRM

Enforce a "no roadmap without AI" expectation across products and internal tools
-
Protect brand DNA by design: embed guardrails that keep merchandising and storytelling faithful to each brand's tone, vocabulary, and positioning

Partner with the CAIO and Head of Transformation to deploy the corporate AI stack and ensure real adoption at scale, not just pilots

Accountable for the domain's business outcomes: lead time, production throughput, operational data quality, cost per sale, and P&L contribution

Ensure every initiative has an explicit business impact hypothesis and measurement plan

Preserve the industrial run: clear RUN vs BUILD split, no degradation of service during transformation

Formalize every quarter the strategic objectives and roadmap, in sync with transversal tech & product governance

Structure and delegate delivery execution to Lead POs, and technical leadership to Lead IT and Domain Architects, remaining accountable for outcomes

Define the target organization of the domain in line with VeepeeTech AI-first principles: densified engineering, optimized management spans, flatter hierarchies

Responsible for people management end-to-end: hiring, performance and growth

Drive AI upskilling of in-place teams as the primary adoption lever: concrete use cases, rituals, protected experimentation time

Build an inspirational technical leadership line (Lead IT, Architects, Staff Engineers) that pulls the average level upward

Infuse the "you build it, you run it" principle progressively, in coordination with the VP Engineering and Principal SRE

Single, trusted point of contact for Sales Preparation business stakeholders

Sell the "art of the possible" with AI to BPOs and function leads; translate business pain into prioritized AI bets

Provide COMEX-level visibility on progress, risks, dependencies, decisions required, and measurable business impact

Keep the organization decision-oriented: lean (ideally AI-assisted) reporting and fast escalation paths
-
Responsible for the domain budget: definition, forecast, and reforecast cycles
-
Drive the organization within company-level budget constraints, including FTE trajectory
-
Accountable for the good usage of this budget in terms of value delivered to the company
