WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

Aernnova Engineering Division (AED), an engineering company of the Aernnova group specialized in the design and certification of aerostructures, as part of its growth strategy due to the award of new projects, need to select for its offices in Madrid, Vitoria, Derio, San José dos Campos (Brazil) and the United States, structural stress engineers with the following characteristics:

• To participate in the design of primary and secondary aircraft structures as part of the product development team.
• Develop solutions to complex technical problems.
• Work in accordance with company processes, procedures, and work instructions and makes suggestions for improvements.
• Work under the guidance of more senior engineers, solving programmatic and technical issues that affect cost, schedule, and performance.
• Interact and/or coordinate the Product Integration Team, to ensure the manufacturability and assembly of the developed product.
• Interact with external and internal customers and suppliers.
• Verifies all design and drafting standards are met, checks for interaction of design with adjacent structures and/or systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in designing aircraft metallic and/or composite structures starting at a conceptual level.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft structures, design of composite and metallic parts and assemblies, stress, and manufacturing processes.
• Candidates must have a global outlook, willingness to travel, ethics/honesty and be achievement-oriented.
• Experience with following CAD software packages: CATIA V5 (preferred) or UG NX. Knowledge for CPD modules will be also appreciated .
• Experience with PDM software.
• Experience with following MS Office packages: MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
