Job Description:

An opportunity for a legal counsel has arisen within Airbus operations in Getafe, Madrid.
Provide proactive business orientated and cost effective legal advice and services to company's Functions (procurement, customer services and support, programs, business development, and engineering in different transactions in the following areas: company governance, delegations of powers, powers of attorney, M&A and cooperation, subsidiary management, litigation, competition and antitrust, trade, documents management, contracts drafting and negotiation, Intellectual Property, IT, R&T and R&D and environment.
Support company's business activities through legal trainings, provision of legal advice, structuring, drafting and negotiation support to Functions.
Draft or support to the drafting of standard documentation and draft legal processes.
Be an entrusted business partner, involved in the mitigation of legal risks.
Together with the litigation team, manage and resolve pre-litigation and litigation cases.
Ensure regular information and reporting to company top management of (i) legal risk or liability issues and propose and manage mitigation or corrective actions in cooperation with the relevant departments as well as (ii) legal opportunities.
Provide and manage corporate documentation for the company and affiliates.
Ensure appropriate legal protection and optimization of company's patrimony, tangible and intangible assets.
Support in a pro-active manner and in conjunction with the relevant departments, insolvency/bankruptcy situations.
Select, retain and supervise external legal counsel whenever outside expert assistance is required.
Implement, manage and coordinate the tools and technology of the Legal & Compliance department including matter management, e-billing, document management and contract management.
