Job Description:

An opportunity for an Occupational Health Physician has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid).

The selected candidate will join the Medical & Occupational Health Team.

Our mission is to safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of all Airbus employees. As part of our multidisciplinary health unit, you will play a proactive role in preventive medicine, emergency response, and promoting a culture of health across our Getafe site.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Perform comprehensive medical surveillance tailored to specific job profiles and risk exposure to effectively prevent, diagnose work-related pathologies, and facilitate job retention.

• Identify, assess, and refer vulnerable employee groups or individuals to relevant specialists when appropriate.

• Propose, pilot, and participate in occupational health actions and projects in close cooperation and consultation with specialized teams.

• Propose fitness-to-work recommendations based on workplace risks and individual health assessments.

• Support and deliver the organization of emergency responses and high-quality first-aid provisions on-site.

Skills

Is your profile aligned with the following criteria? If so,

• Education: University Degree in Medicine (specialization in Occupational Medicine / Medicina del Trabajo is highly valued).

• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a related occupational health position.

• Languages: Advanced/Negotiation level in both English and Spanish is mandatory.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong empathy, and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
