👨🚀About the Position🛰️
As a LabVIEW Engineer at Arkadia, you will play a key role in the development, integration, and validation of test systems for propulsion technologies, supporting both R&D and industrialization activities.
Test systems development, designing and programming automated test benches using LabVIEW for propulsion systems, including data acquisition, control logic, and real-time monitoring.
Instrumentation and integration, interfacing sensors, actuators, and control systems (pressure, temperature, flow, valves, etc.) ensuring reliable and accurate measurements.
Data acquisition and analysis, developing robust data logging systems, processing test data, and supporting engineers in analyzing results and improving system performance.
Control systems implementation, designing and tuning control loops (PID, sequencing, safety interlocks) for propulsion testing and fluid systems.
Test operations support, collaborating closely with test engineers during setup, execution, and troubleshooting of test campaigns.
System reliability and maintenance, ensuring stability, scalability, and maintainability of LabVIEW applications and test infrastructure.
Documentation and standards, maintaining clear documentation of software architectures, interfaces, and test procedures to ensure traceability and compliance with internal standards.
What you'll need
Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Industrial, Automation, or similar).
3+ years of experience developing applications in LabVIEW, ideally in test, automation, or control environments.
Experience with NI ecosystem (PXI, CompactRIO, TestStand, VeriStand).
Experience with real-time systems and FPGA programming.
Strong understanding of control systems and signal processing.
Experience integrating hardware components such as sensors, valves, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, EtherCAT, Modbus, TCP/IP).
Ability to debug complex systems combining software and hardware.
Advanced English (spoken and written).
Ability to work hands-on in laboratory and test environments.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Nice to have
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries.
Experience with NI FPGA programming.
Familiarity with safety-critical systems and test procedures.
Familiarity with electrical design software such as SEE electrical or Eplan.
Basic knowledge of Python or other programming languages for data processing.
Experience in test campaign environments or industrial validation.
Previous experience in university teams related to rocket propulsion and automation will be valued.
