We are looking for a for a Space Hardware Designer & EEE Parts Engineer to join our Electronics team and contribute to the development of advanced avionics and electronic systems for space applications.
Tasks to be performed:
Design and develop electronic hardware for space avionics, payloads, and platform subsystems.
Define hardware architectures and develop analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics solutions.
Select, evaluate, and manage EEE parts according to ECSS/ESCC standards, reliability requirements, radiation constraints, and mission needs.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including schematics, component lists, derating and worst-case analyses, and verification reports.
Support PCB layout reviews considering EMC, thermal behavior, manufacturability, reliability, and testability.
Perform hardware integration, debugging, verification, and support qualification and acceptance testing activities.
Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, product assurance, and suppliers to ensure compliant and reliable hardware development.
Participate in design reviews, non-conformance analysis, and risk mitigation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required skills, experience and candidate profile:
Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
At least, 5 years of experience in hardware design or EEE parts engineering for space or high-reliability industries.
Strong knowledge of electronic hardware development and verification processes.
Experience with EEE parts selection, qualification, derating, reliability, and procurement for space applications.
Knowledge of analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics design.
Ability to interpret datasheets, qualification reports, and reliability documentation.
Familiarity with EMC, thermal, manufacturability, and testability considerations in electronic systems.
Experience preparing technical documentation and supporting project milestones and reviews.
Fluent level of English.
Nice to Have:
Experience with ECSS, ESCC, MIL-PRF, NASA EEE-INST, or similar standards/frameworks.
Knowledge of radiation effects on electronics (TID, SEE).
Experience with space communication interfaces such as SpaceWire, CAN, RS-422, LVDS, SPI, I²C, Ethernet, or MIL-STD-1553.
Experience with ECAD tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics.
Familiarity with reliability and safety analysis methodologies such as FMEA/FMECA, WCA, PSA, or MTBF prediction.
Experience supporting qualification and acceptance campaigns for flight hardware.
Knowledge of configuration control, non-conformance management, and space project documentation.
