Introduction to role:
This role is based in Barcelona, with an on-site commitment of three days a week. Fluency in English is required.
Are you ready to lead business-critical transformation that accelerates how new medicines move from the lab to patients? Join us as an Associate Director Project Management in the Transformation Management Office (TMO).
In this role, you will drive high-impact programs that strengthen clinical development execution and shape how we deliver science at scale. Your work will turn strategy into outcomes that improve speed, quality, and predictability across our research and development portfolio.
Accountabilities:
- You will support the Head of Transformation Management and wider programme on activities related to project management, across multiple programs.
- You will lead large-scale projects directly, taking charge of full scope and deployment activities.
- You will spearhead transformative initiatives from conception to execution, leveraging your expertise and leadership to drive impactful outcomes.
- You will also manage and oversee transformation and improvement projects, ensuring seamless integration across our various function in R&D.
Essential Skills/Experience:

- Experience in transformation/change to the R&D clinical development value chain.
- Robust understanding of processes with a significant emphasis on R&D.
- Formal qualifications in project management, change management, and/or process improvement methodologies.
- Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context.
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience.
