Responsibilities: Responsible for new business development and monitor the retention of renewal business in General Insurance segment Develop close relationship with insurance intermediaries and explore new business opportunities Assist in executing marketing strategies and business plans for achieving business targets Support the team to drive business strategies and ensure that strategies are monitored and executed Ensure compliance expectations are fully met Provide responses and daily service to insurance intermediaries within the service standard Implement prudent underwriting practice under authority limit, in line with company's underwriting philosophies Underwriting support and provision of local market and risk knowledge to the cluster underwriting team Perform underwriting assessment on new and renewal business Align the underwriting profit in accordance with the business plan Ad hoc project as required Qualifications: Associate Degree or above, preferably in Insurance Studies Possessing or in progress of professional insurance qualification such as ACII or ANZIIF is preferred Minimum 3 years of working experience in GI - Commercial Lines products Proactive & able to work independently Able to work in fast paced environment independently, strong sense of responsibility, detailed minded, sound judgement, good analytical and problem solving skills Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese Well versed in Microsoft Office including use of Word, Excel & PowerPoint About AXA Hong Kong and Macau AXA Hong Kong and Macau is a member of the AXA Group, a leading global insurer with presence in 50 markets and serving 95 million customers worldwide.
