Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Design role within a product-focussed environment, with significant experience in Lean UX and Agile methodologies.

• You must share a portfolio which demonstrates previous design experience, breadth and depth of design skills with case studies which illustrate challenges, methods, roles and outcomes.

• You are a passionate advocate for the user with a good understanding of qualitative and quantitative data, and how and when to use them.

• You are ego-free and people-focused, with a collaborative design mentality focused on meaningful outcomes. You take an iterative approach to everything you do, prioritizing speed over perfection.

• You have communication skills to help facilitate the design process, set up frameworks, brainstorm initial design concepts and speak confidently to your own design work and reasoning.

• Strong understanding of user experience and interaction principles within the constraints of mobile devices, as well as across desktop environments. 

• You are self-driven and strive for feedback and critique, seeking to continuously improve your knowledge and skills.

• Solid skills with design tools, such as Figma and other prototyping tools.

• You’ve built and scaled hybrid component libraries across teams (i.e.: Design Systems).

• Experience working in Product organizations in fast-paced environments is a plus
