A leading UK-based multinational company undergoing expansion is seeking to appoint a temporary People Lead.

Descripción

  • Act as the local People contact for all general employee queries and HR-related issues, ensuring compliance with local law.
  • Coach and empower managers to handle people issues consistently and effectively.
  • Guide organisational change and restructuring processes, advising on best practices and local legislation.
  • Support company communications for the Spanish market to ensure cultural alignment and understanding.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle in Spain, from managing hiring and onboarding to offboarding employees.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with universities and business schools to build a pipeline of future talent.
  • Administer payroll and benefits, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain accurate HR data in the HR Information System (HRIS) and prepare necessary reports.
  • Lead the localisation of training programs and manage the induction process for new hires.
  • Work with People Experience on local health and safety, inventory and events management.
  • Collaborate with the UK People team to ensure global consistency while implementing local initiatives, applying team based standards across HR, Talent Acquisition and People Operations & Reward.
  • Propose continuous improvements to working practices based on your on-the-ground knowledge.
  • Promoting a culture of inclusivity and innovation.
  • Support with such other duties as may be required from the role from time to time.
