Overview
This position will support the FLNA Supply Chain Food Safety Team by providing subject matter expertise, analytical and deployment support for multiple food safety and capability initiatives. The person hired for this role will be responsible for developing and improving the hygienic design and sanitation aspects of allergen and microbial risk mitigation for low moisture foods. These programs will be leveraged across the Supply Chain function to assist in the delivery of our short-term and long-term agenda.
The selected candidate must have the ability to work with cross-functional HQ and field supply chain teams to create innovative solutions for allergen and microbial risk management.
The successful candidate will be based in Plano and will travel to field sites.
% Travel: 40-50%
Responsibilities
- Use a risk-based approach to review allergen and microbial growth controls; including Hygienic Design, GMP and Sanitation Programs to implement solutions that ensure regulatory compliance and consumer safety
- Support, design and data maintenance of food safety analysis tracking tools and reporting
- Coordinate with vendors, Engineering and Global Food Safety Teams on the development and ongoing standards of food safe equipment and systems
- Lead execution of FS Projects
- Collaborate with Field and HQ cross-functional partners to coordinate and gain feedback and alignment on project continuous improvement
- Lead ATP/PCS program and co-lead initiatives for Pathogen Environmental Monitoring (PEM) and Hygienic Design.
- There will also be involvement in projects where data manipulation and reporting skills will be needed.
- Responsibility for specific food safety or regulatory program
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,200 - $134,250.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
