We are recruiting for aSenior P2P Finance Analyst.
The Senior P2P Finance Analyst is responsible for managing the P2P function within the Transactional Finance Department. This role includes overseeing the P2P team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of supplier statement reconciliations and payments across multiple legal entities. Query resolution of all internal and external anomalies to ensure complete, accurate and timely payments are made to all vendors. Input to the completeness of monthly accounts through the accruals process and sub ledger risk reviews.
The Senior P2P Analyst will lead a team of expert analysts and administration clerks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and exceptional service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.

Main Duties:
Team Management: Lead the P2P Function and oversee the payables operation for all Rhenus UK & Ireland entities serviced by the Shared Service Organisation
Ledger Reviews: Conduct monthly reviews with the analysts to assess performance and manage reconciling items and DR balances
Payment Processing: Ensure payment runs, daily payments and expenses are processed accurately and approved on time.
Reporting: Aid the Transactional Finance Manager in completing monthly reporting tasks, support the Management Accounts team in completing a full and accurate accrual process
Team Development: Support the management and development of the P2P team to enhance service delivery to internal and external customers.
Performance Appraisals: Setting strategically aligned and appropriate objectives and goals for team members, manage day to day performance, updates and annual reviews
Branch Liaison: Communicate regularly with all Rhenus branches, through regular teams calls and face to face meetings as required, to help drive collaboration leading to improvements to on time payments to vendors
Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Transactional Finance Manager to develop new processes and procedures that benefit the organization
Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks deemed appropriate for the role of Senior P2P Finance Analyst
What You Bring:
Key Competencies and Skills:
Leadership and Management includes setting clear goals, providing feedback, and fostering collaborative work environments and stakeholder relationships

Strong understanding of P2P processes and best practices
Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills
Strong skill set and expertise in the use of SAP and MS Excel

Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Education and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in P2P or similar finance role
Experience managing a team
Experience using SAP R3/S4
Expertise in supplier reconciliation and anomaly resolution processes
Experience managing Direct Debits and handling complex supplier queries
Previous exposure to high-volume transactional environments
Knowledge of VAT and other relevant compliance requirements
Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
