About the Program

Gain first-hand insight into world of investment banking and hands-on professional experience through an immersive program at one of the world's leading banks.

What you will be doing

As a Santander CIB Summer in Global Transaction Banking, you will be aligned to a core GTB sub-product area. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on projects designed to provide broad exposure to GTB products, including Trade & Working Capital, Cash Management and Export & Agency Finance.

During your program, you will perform key tasks to support the execution and development of solutions, including:

• Conduct market and industry research to uncover trends, competitive dynamics, and client opportunities.

• Analyse data to identify high-potential clients, products, and business segments.

• Build sales and proposal materials that help teams pitch ideas and bring products to market.

• Gain hands-on experience in transactional banking, contributing to real operations that support our clients' day-to-day needs.

• Present projects to team, partners, and senior leaders, sharing insights and recommendations while learning from experts across the business.

We are looking for

• Students ready to start the summer program in June 2026 and finish their studies in summer 2027 (going into your final year at university after the internship).

• The ability to be open and collaborative in a multicultural environment.

• High proficiency in English (any other languages are a plus).

• Financial knowledge.

• AI users.

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

• Availability for a full-time summer internship from June 2026.
