Mission

Coordinate, centralize and support the effective functioning of Compliance Monitoring, across the Compliance Department, the Management System and the operational areas involved in regulatory, training, documentation, audit and authority-related processes, in accordance with applicable EASA/AESA requirements, company standards, Management System procedures, audit program commitments and internal coordination needs, in order to ensure regulatory compliance, operational consistency, reliable follow-up, continuous improvement and effective support to the organization's safety and compliance obligations.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for Compliance Monitoring projects and initiatives, ensuring everything runs smoothly from planning through to completion. Coordinate stakeholders, track progress, and keep priorities aligned.

  • Manage communication and regulatory interactions with AESA, EASA, and other authorities, handling submissions, documentation, deadlines, and follow-ups while working closely with auditors and operational teams.

  • Create and maintain clear and engaging Compliance communications (articles, updates, bulletins), making sure information is accessible and relevant across the organization.

  • Keep the Management System Manual and all Compliance documentation accurate, structured, and audit-ready at all times.

  • Organize and facilitate Compliance meetings, preparing agendas, materials, and minutes, and ensuring actions are clearly tracked and followed up.

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Management System platform, overseeing workflows, records, permissions, and action tracking to support day-to-day Compliance activities.

  • Coordinate Compliance training across teams, including planning sessions, managing logistics, tracking certifications, and supporting delivery when needed.

  • Keep audit tools and materials up to date, ensuring alignment with current EASA, AESA, and internal requirements.

Academic background

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Management or a similar technical field, providing a solid foundation to understand flight operations, safety, and the regulatory environment.

  • A technically skilled aviation professional with good industry awareness, strong integrity, and the confidence to raise and challenge compliance matters when needed.

Experience

  • Around 2 years of experience in airline operations, with a good understanding of day-to-day challenges, procedures, and the operational environment.

  • Additional experience or development (around 1 year) to reach full independence in the role, including the ability to perform audits and compliance checks autonomously and gain in-depth knowledge of company-specific requirements.

  • Solid awareness of operational realities and constraints, helping to work effectively with different teams and areas.

Skills

  • Good understanding of EASA regulations and relevant safety standards to ensure processes and audits meet regulatory requirements.

  • Familiar with audit practices and quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001), supporting structured and effective compliance assessments.

  • Comfortable working within Management Systems, including documentation control, workflows, records, and follow-up of actions.
