We're hiring an experienced Senior Data & Analytics Engineer who builds the reporting and analytics layer for a CSR platform, migrating from legacy BI tools to a unified QuickSight-based analytics experience. You work closely with an internal data engineering team that owns the warehouse and transformation layer, building on top of their foundation - datasets, dashboards, calculated fields, and data exports that enterprise customers use daily.

What You Will Build

• QuickSight dataset modeling and dashboard development (migrating from legacy BI tools)

• Row-level security (RLS) implementation for multi-tenant QuickSight dashboards

• Custom reporting: calculated fields, cross-customer aggregation, time-series analytics

• Data export capabilities: CSV, API-based, SFTP delivery

• AI-powered impact narratives (LLM integration for generating qualitative reports from quantitative data)

• SDG taxonomy tagging and impact measurement frameworks

• Custom outcome frameworks with configurable metric schemas

• Data quality validation and anomaly detection for reporting pipelines

Required Skills

• Expert use of AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent)

• Snowflake (warehouse architecture, query optimization, cost management)

• dbt (model development, testing, documentation - daily use)

• QuickSight (dataset modeling, dashboard authoring, RLS, embedding)

• SQL (advanced - window functions, CTEs, complex joins across large datasets)

• Fivetran or equivalent ELT platform (connector configuration, sync monitoring)

• Python or TypeScript for data pipeline scripting

• Data modeling for analytics (dimensional modeling, slowly changing dimensions)

• Looker / LookML experience
