What we are looking for...
  • Marketing or Communications background with proven experience in community building and content creation

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality (hotels, restaurants or similar) in a People-focused or Marketing-focused role

  • Expertise in social media platforms, content creation and community management. You understand how to build engaged communities and tell stories that resonate

  • Knowledge of Spanish labour law and employment practices

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and social media management tools

  • Strong creative thinking with ability to conceptualize events, campaigns and initiatives from idea to execution

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Natural energy, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for people. You make others feel valued and inspired

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and passionate People & Culture Coordinator to join our team. This role is the beating heart of our internal culture and employee experience. You will be responsible for designing, executing and communicating all initiatives that celebrate our team, strengthen our workplace community, and reinforce SLS's unique culture through engaging, authentic and creative storytelling.

Your core responsibilities span five pillars:

  • Culture & Community Building: conceive and execute employee social events, team activities and celebration moments that foster belonging, strengthen connections and make work memorable. You are the architect of moments that matter.

  • Employee Recognition: develop and manage recognition programs that celebrate achievements, milestones and contributions across all levels. You ensure that excellence is seen, valued and celebrated in ways that resonate with our team.

  • Internship & Development Talent: own the end-to-end internship program including recruitment, selection, onboarding, mentoring and alumni engagement. You are responsible for positioning SLS as a destination for emerging talent and ensuring their development journey is thoughtful and impactful.

  • Internal Communication & Content: lead all internal communication channels and content creation. You develop the narrative of our culture, craft messaging that inspires, and build community through compelling storytelling across multiple platforms and touchpoints. This includes managing internal social channels and creating content that reflects who we are.

  • Learning & Development Partnership: partner closely with the L&D Manager to advise on learning initiatives, employee development opportunities and skill-building activities. You contribute to the strategy and amplify L&D programs through clear, engaging communication and community engagement.
