Descripción

The Operations Services - Derivatives team is responsible for the operational processing, control and reconciliation of derivative transactions across multiple asset classes.

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely execution, control and oversight of derivatives and collateral operations across the full transaction lifecycle, acting as a key operational contact for derivative-related activities and contributing to operational stability, risk mitigation and process enhancement initiatives.

Derivatives Operations

  • Manage and oversee operational processing and control of derivative trades and positions
  • Ensure accurate lifecycle management of derivative transactions across multiple asset classes
  • Calculate derivative values and margin requirements
  • Coordinate and ensure accurate settlement instruction and execution for derivative transactions with custodians, brokers and administrators
  • Monitor and escalate operational incidents, settlement breaks and lifecycle-related exceptions



Collateral Management

  • Manage collateral obligations and margin-related operational processes with brokers, custodians and counterparties
  • Reconcile collateral balances, derivative trades and positions with counterparties
  • Investigate, coordinate and resolve collateral and reconciliation discrepancies impacting operational integrity
  • Ensure timely handling of collateral-related operational events and escalation of material exceptions



Cash & Liquidity Support relevant to Derivatives

  • Monitor cash positioning, inflows / outflows, overdrafts and liquidity movements relevant to trading activity
  • Coordinate payments required by brokers and exchanges in connection with derivatives activity



Stakeholder Coordination & Operational Control

  • Act as operational point of contact for derivatives and collateral-related matters across internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate operational activities with Front Office, Risk, Accounting, custodians, brokers and external providers
  • Ensure operational processing quality and control across the derivative lifecycle
  • Escalate breaks and exceptions affecting derivative settlement or collateral integrity
  • Contribute to the enhancement of operational controls, governance processes and workflow efficiency
  • Contribute to process optimization, automation initiatives and operational documentation
